Naples Gun Shop was founded on a lifelong commitment to public service, firearms education, and responsible gun ownership.

Owner David Rich began his career in law enforcement and corrections in 1989, serving in Massachusetts before continuing his public safety career in Florida. In 2007, he transitioned to the private sector as a licensed Florida Private Investigator and later founded Investigative Tactics, a private investigations agency serving Southwest Florida and clients throughout the state.

Throughout his career, David has served as a Field Training Officer, FDLE Certified Instructor, court-qualified expert in surveillance and private investigations, and expert firearms instructor. His extensive experience in law enforcement, corrections, investigations, and firearms training laid the foundation for what would eventually become Naples Gun Shop.

What began as concealed carry and handgun safety training soon expanded as students and clients sought a trusted source for firearms, accessories, and personal protection products. From that demand, Naples Gun Shop was born.

Our team includes experienced professionals, many of whom are military & combat veterans as well as investigators, bringing real-world discipline, training, and service experience to every customer interaction.
